Great Kids Come From Great Parents

Parent and Child Dedication offers families an opportunity to partner with Life Link Church to facilitate the best of our combined resources and energies to build strong families and raise Godly children.  It is this focus that leads us to Parent and Child Dedication.

This memorable service offers an opportunity as a parent to commit to raising Christ-centered, others-oriented children. It also gives the opportunity to have a pastor pray for God's blessings on your child and your family.

Dedication is a celebration that recognizes your child as a gift from God and makes public the church's commitment to your family and your family's commitment to the church.  It is not a ceremony that brings salvation to your child or a substitute for believers baptism.

Start Planning Now To Celebrate With Us

Parent and Child Dedication begins with active membership at Life Link Church.  What does it mean to be active?  It starts with joining the church after attending a Discover Life Link Class.  It continues with regular worship attendance and volunteering for at least three months.

Attending at the Parent and Child Dedication Class scheduled the Saturday one week prior to the Dedication Service is also required.  In this class we will explain the way Life Link Church does Parent and Child Dedication and how this differs from other types of churches.

In order to participate in the Parent and Child Dedication Ceremony, you must be the parents or legal guardians of the child.  Recommended ages of children is 5 years old and under; however, consideration will be given to special circumstances.
